Guys, PM me your VIN numbers and contact info. I think you guys are going to be the first entries into the new Cannondale registry that I am making to help document our bikes. Why not start with the rarest one first?

I'll see if I can get a picture of my Glamis because right now it is apart. Cool thread though to see how many are out there. I did'nt know how rare they are until I seen James in Oregon at Whinchester Bay. The guy I bought it from told me it was a Speed but when I went to southern Ca. to look at it I found out it was a Glamis.
James I'm still planning on having you rebuild the motor but money is a little tight right now as I'm sure everybody knows.

Are any of you guys running the Glamis flag?

Glamis #2 yours is registered.

They was only 15 dates where Cannondale produced Glamis quads. The first date was 9/20/2002 & the last was 11/18/2002. The VIN #1 with a G in the number was the first one off the line and the #28 with a G in the VIN was the last one done.

FYI: There were two VIN number runs. Meaning that there is 2 of every last 2 digits. There were 29 units in the G run and 27 units in the non-G run. So there is 2 of every number up to #27 and only one #28 & #29.

I found the original flag and whip at the dealer and threw it in the car when he wasn't looking... I figured I was buying him out of the Dale stuff, and that was Dale stuff! The whip is massive, and kinda goofy, so I run a cheapy or not one at all. I do try to run the Cannondale penants on cheapy whips though, for posterity. Flags are pointless, because when you come over a dune the first thing to appear are the front wheels and bumper, the flag is always whipping back in the wind, and on the steep dunes even a Stiffy is angled backwards, so whatever... Like I said, running one is rare for me, more of a pain.

I have a few of them, thanks BW. In Pismo we have to run a flag. TheDeatons I couldn't disagree more with you a flag does help. Yes on large dunes its not so helpful but on smaller dunes it does help a lot. I think anything that can be done for safety should be done, even if it is something like a flag.
