Have you checked your coil for weak spark when hot? I had a few annoying ones like that. Start great cold but if stalled it took 20 -30 seconds of cranking to restart. Swapped out a spare coil and it was back to instant starts. Another big one is low compresion when hot. You need at least 50 psi to start. If it is a fuel issue try jumping up and down by .2 on the offset and see if that makes a difference.

Yes,I have tried a spare coil,same problem.I fiddled with it again tonight,changed the plug to a cr8 instead of the 10,hot start issue is gone for now.

Just get the d and m and get down to business. Its really not hard and if you have any questions or problems, anyone on here can guide you through it including me. You will be able to find faults, do throttle cals, and adjust fuel settings in an instant....and save yourself time and money in the long run. Its necessary when you start adding modifications also, example, exhaust, intake, porting.....
