Had that happen a few years ago at the 2007 races in crandon. Was doing a TT race and was in 3rd place getting ready to pass for second, but then the battery crapped out on the last lap of my LCQ.

Being towed in is the worst feeling. Everyone is looking at you wondering what is wrong with your p.o.s.. I think that was the only time I can remember getting towed in at a race. I had to get towed in from a trail ride once because my stator took a dump. Once I had to get towed in from a mx race because my tether broke when I crashed so it wouldn't start, but that was on my honda. Once I crashed my atk and lost the end of the tether, but by the time the race finished I had figured out how to hold the pingle open and drive back to the pits under my own power.

just put about 1 hour or more on the new motor. Still waiting on my carbon deletes though.
