leakin tranny oil out by the shifting shaft

i just bought a dale last week and the seal around the shaft isnt snuck and leaks alot of oil. the guy i bought it from says the seals new. would the only problem be the seal or could there be a problem internally?

new or used, it's still a leaker. You can replace from the outside without pulling the motor. I have those seals in stock. pacrimdm@msn.com

used. the guy gaurenteed the quad 100% so he's replacing it. no big deal. i was just making sure there wasnt a problem to where i would have to take of the side of the motor.
