help!!! new dale owner!!!!

ok well i just picked up a 2002 cannondale cannibal that has been sitting for 8 months, it refuses to start, im pretty sure i just need a new battery becuase the ones i have dont hold enough charge and im thinking thats causing it not to be able to keep the fuel pump running..

can someone help me?!?! thanks a lot!!

Start with a new battery. A bad battery can keep the computer from properly powering up. You also won't be able to run one off a charger if the battery is bad.

And you probobly need to change the spark plug now. If you have been cranking on it without it starting then the plug is probobly shot now. Its a major chore to a new owner but has to be learned.

Check your fuel disconnects as well. 8 months is long enough to swell up the internal o-rings.

Try jump starting it with a car/truck battery (with the car or truck not running).
