Some of you may have seen my other post about an occasional problem where my quad dies but will start right back up. It was suggested that I check the grounds. In doing this I decided to check the other connections. So I unhooked the positive side of the battery and the wires that go to the solenoid and starter. I need to make sure I hooked them up correctly.

My solenoid is mounted on the battery bracket with the plug facing the front of the quad. The battery wire is hooked to the bottom post on the solenoid. The starter wire is hooked to the top post of the solenoid. Is this correct? Thanks for the help.

It doesn't really matter which one of the big red wires goes where, as long as one goes on each terminal.

Thanks. I expected that would be the case but better safe than sorry. Thanks again.
