I just bought the New Glamis off e-bay. tongue.gif I will be getting it at the end of the month. It looks like no.15 on the picture of the VIN.
I will probably have to get rid of on of my other Cannondales, or part one out.
I will post pics when I get it. Gary

2999.00 buy it now. It will cost me about 450.00 to get it shipped.
A former Cannondale dealer had it. They tell me all the major updates have been done.

Congrats on getting a great deal on a very rare quad!. I have a Vin 12, 16, 17, and a few others.

But no, don't expect anything major as far as updates, no matter what the dealer may say. But it might have the internal stud update by your Vin 15, and you won't need the crankcase ventilation update, or any harness updates. It would have a magnesium valvecover, and coolant sitting in it for years by now -- maybe some corrosion, but that's no big deal. As far as coming from Cannondale, that's about the best you can find these days, so you really have a keeper. Bravo wink.gif

That was a fair deal... A friend of mine picked up two new cani's a while ago and paid 4k for each which I thought that was too much. Paranoia from what some people say here let us to fully update one motor without even starting it and the other we did a little later. I think if we had it to do all over again we would have just lowered the rev limits to 10k and did what we needed to on the valve cover and ran em for a while. One of the covers was really eaten out and the other is still going today with evans so it is a crap shoot on what you will have to do there.

I would also recomend taking apart all of the pivot points in the shocks and front end and grease them up with some good marine grade grease before you ride it.

I have hundreds of hard dune hours on one of the ripsaw bearings and I can only attribute its survival to the lower rev limit and rotella synthetic. Your results may vary but you could probably get a season or fifty hours out of it without hurting the rod with a lower limit and good oil and frequent oil changes.
