What generates this info? where do I find out from the VIN what model the quad started life as?

I'm curious about the last 2 numbers, oil pressure, where is this measured? is it PSI it seems low?

The almighty Oz generates this info....LOL laugh.gif

I have been studying several sources for a few years now and I have sorted and cleaned up the data on most of it. The first 9 digits describe the make and model, the tenth is the year and the rest are the consecutive numbers of the series.

On the oil pressure, I believe it was measured with a special device tapped into the oil filter cover when dynoed. The numbers are low but the volume is pretty high from what we have seen. Yes it was in psi.

This was a 2002 Cannibal (most common series, with over 1000 units):

Interesting foot note on this one shows it was used for electrical testing at the factory.
