Brad and Boomer have piles of them. You can use a starter soleniod off just about any small engine . I am actually using a glow plug relay off a ford powerstroke on one of mine. Dang thing plugged right in to the mc500 harness. Its just a simple relay. A ford firewalll mounted one works as well.

THANKS

I was talking to Kdeal about these but thought he said I had to add something to the wiring, but can't remember what was said.

I realy don't want to cut the pulg off. but don't want to spend a lot of money avoiding it either

I'm taking it the 500 has a differant plug than the 1000?

The 500 uses a smaller plug that goes right into the soleniod itself. No wires to break like the 1000ecm has. The 1000 uses a weatherpack connecter with a jumper harness. I have made adapters to plug in between the different soleniods on my dyno quad so i dont have to cut any wires .

At one point in time, BlackWidow was selling the newer style solenoids without the correct plug. I turned Brad onto the tools & parts needed to install (and uninstall) the weatherpack connectors. So all of his solenoids now come with the right connector. If anyone has any of the old style or ones prior to Brad obtaining the tools there are several of us that have tools and parts to put a factory connector on, so don't worry.

Both my quads have the same solenoid. and the two small wires plug right into the solenoid. I did find one that looks simular, its off a sea-doo. By the picture the only differance ican see is the rubber mounting gromuts (sp?). I was going to stop by a dealer and compare them.
