Bought my first dale and the crank is bad

thats not good what do the lifters look like are the dented???

Hey can one of you guys post a pic of the cams and buckets so I have something to go off of when I check em tomorrow Thanks really appreciated and I'm going to use a mike to check the wear on them

Well I figured it out, the intake valves are way out of spec, The intake cam was hitting the head and chipped some pieces off of it, The intake valve buckets has a deep groove in them so I'm gonna have to buy a new cam, some valve shims, an aluminum impellar, a clutch from the e clip bending the tabs, and swingarm bearings. But at least I got it figured out biggrin.gif

Did the previous owner say he put a updated crank in there?

No it's an unupdated motor the only thing I could find that may have been updated or I just got a lucky motor was the cartridge plate bolts are TIGHT
