could someone tell me what sort of plastic the gas tank is made out of ? i need to get some plastic welding rods,i have been told they have to be the same plastic as what the tank is made of

Not sure what type of plastic but a new tank is pretty cheap and you can get them with the updated quick connects.

i dont need a new tank i want to cut a hole in mine like i said in my last post

I just someone somewhere that had cut a hole in the tank to drop a KTM engine in a Dale frame,I think to clear the carb,maybe a member here called SlOot
