i traveled most of the season with nac's/c-dale 2002-2003 covering the mx/gncc coarse's. most of there machines were STOCK. other than shiney billet parts and decals, stock engines. we "c-dale" worked with nacs for developement, c-dale needed there machines tested at a pro-level. c-dale wanted "race-ready bikes" nacs showed what the bikes could do, "stock form". if nacs broke it, c-dale re-engineered it, nacs re-tested. though nac's riders helped alot on map developement.
gotta remember, back in 2002-03 most racers rode 250r honda frames with full blown 250r motor or some other engine squeezed in the 250r frame. only 4 stroke in the race game was a 400ex, didn't compare... or a 660 raptor, um ya... didn't take a highly "specaily" modified engine to kick some a$$.
nac's race rig, was pretty cool, in the rear there was a lift that raised like 4 quads to the ceiling, then 4 more quads could be pulled in under them, that lift was built at cannondale.
