I am in need of a new rear wheel. The plan is to buy another wheel that matches the stock ITP wheel.
However, I have a stupid question regarding the wheel size. I think the wheels are stock which means they are the standard 3 +6 offset. When I measure inside of the wheel I don't exactly get this measurement. Can someone help with wheel measurement 101?
Attached are a few photos I took of my wheel and tire during the measurements.
Wheel Size
It's all more relative to the bead of the tire than overall measurements of the rim. If you had the tire off, measure the ID, and you'll get about 9"- your measurement shows the overall OD of the rim. The lip that sticks out and catches the tire doesn't count (which looks like about 1/2" each way). When measuring the front spacing, hook the inside of the wheel, where it meets the hub. And use that same point to measure backspacing (which you did) and again refer that to the location of the tire bead. It wouldn't surprise me if the numbers are not exactly 3 or 6, but they'll be pretty close.
