Unfortunately there are no mass produced oil filters for the Cannondale engine. Brad @ Black Widow has paper element filters for decent money and they get cheaper the more you buy at a time. A second option is one of about 3-4 other types of metal screen filters. I have several here on the shelf if you need one. I would be extremely diligent in changing your oil if you go with the metal one. But then again, you are saving the cost of the filter each oil change as well. Also, make sure when draining your oil that you are draining all 4 areas of the motor oil completely and then adding 1.5 quarts of good quality synthetic oil. I like to add a zinc additive as well to keep the cams and lifters alive. On the transmission side, it's .75 quarts of a good quality NON-hypoid tranny oil.

Ken, any chance to look at that clutch and basket of mine? Curious if the fluid I used cleaned as well as functioned.
