Moto only 48" wide rear?

I thought the Moto was suposed to be 50 inch wide. But I measured mine at the rear and it's only 48 inch wide.
It has the stock beadlock rims it came with and the hub spacers are placed at maximum width.

Is it suposed to be 48 inch wide?

switch to 400ex hubs

Can you run 400ex hubs on a stock Moto axle? I bought a set and they don't fit on either of my Moto axles.. But they slide right on the my rpm? Stock hubs slide right on all three axles.
