What ever happened with there Cannondale quad venture? Anybody know? I remember the article in dirt wheels a few years back and then didn't see anything.

They are selling motors for any application. I believe they will build a quad if you order one.

Any idea I'd they are available to buy parts for/from them? There models were available with a 250r subframe and bigger tank.

I just received an email from them the other day stating that they are ready to start selling motors, $5000 for a 450, I think it was something like $8K for their twin,
I don't get why they would price themselves out of business, other than the possibility of a one off race team or custom builder that just wants something different, why would they expect people to pay about 2 times what they could pick up a production motor from Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or KTM that they would be able to get parts for?

Was that for just the motor? Or wiring harness intake exhaust engine cradle? If it comes with everything to drop into the dale frames n go it's a little bit more reasonable..

I think that was just the motor, so you could drop it in anything you like, looks like it may have FI and electrics, no exhaust. highland motors

The thing is, you cannot buy a production brand new OEM jap engine, unless you buy it piece by piece, 5k though is steep! I was hoping to see them sell for around 3 k.

On their site it says that the 450 has 50hp @ 6500rpm.

I ain't gonna pay $5000 for that.
