Finally back together

Finally got everything back together. Turn key, push button, nothing. New battery and same thing. Tail light works. I bridge the solenoid and fires right up. Assuming its a bad solenoid. It worked fine before taken apart. Do they "go bad" over time?

Maybe it's an issue with the clutch interlock, if so equipped... or the start button.
