breakin

Tim, what is you suggest for proper breakin on a new motor?
I am doing a complete tear down and rebuild (new case) with your stroker crank.

Hey Pat,

Do a throttle Cal and then ride it like you stole it.......

That's the same way the last 2 quads went out of my garage! (minus the throttle cal, of course) :confused:

Yeah but that wasn't breaking the motor in....You were just plain broke into...:mad:

i put about five hours on the motor changed oil put another hour on and went to budds creek and had fun

I don't have a stroker, but I just did a couple heat cycles, when on a light trail ride, and then the next day I raced a harescramble. Works great!

Pretty much just follow the breakin procedure as in the owners manual.Do a few heat cycles and then change the oil before ringing it out too long.
