what will I need and cost I know your stroker crank and have the head ported and kibblewhite vavles and springs. Will the stock airbox allow for 50hp or did you get it running a canniboomer setup?? Let me know when you get time man just give me an overall estimate.

The kibblewhites are not to increase performance. In fact since they weight more they take just a little away. They are hopefully a reliabilty improver but so far results are questionable..
I dont think anyone has ever got a dyno run with a canniboomer air filter but I think my custom setup on my 470 should be similar .
We have shown that a stock airbox will lose up to 2 horse over a straight air filter on the stroker engines.
Where you ride will determine if you can lose the airbox though.

Jacob did not get the 50 hp with the stock airbox.Would get it with the boomer setup without will be a couple hp shy.cost for stroker crank $475.If your rod is good and usable $350.Porting runs $375 includes throttlebody bore, intake, chamber &exhaust porting and exhuast header pipe cleanup.Valves springs run $75.I'll have to get back and look up what the kibblewhite valves cost.Have been having good luck so far with stock valves with the springs. The biggest difference from kibblewhite valves from stockers is the kibblewhites don't have the undercut so should be beefier.I do not recommend the hotter cams at this time that you aquired about earlier. They are wearing FAST.The pipe I ran was the fmf ti.The hmf full was also putting out good power on the dyno. Not sure what the power difference would be from just the slipon. Now to try out the blackwidow pipe.

I will be running the boomer setup for the aier filter. I dont want the hotter cams that is an extra cost I dont need I just want to stroke it and use the stock piston I havent found any more wiseco stoke bores so prob will have to have you mill mine for the higher comp if thats possible. I will get the head ported though. and running stock valves and kibble white springs is fine since they seem to holdup just fine. I just have the hmf slipon with 03 headpipe I will be getting the new flow exhaust from brad sometime I would rather spend it on my motor instead of pipe since I already have a somewhat free flowing system.

Jacob...the stock airbox will not hit 50hp. If anyone out there has done it please speak up but as far as I know it hasn't been done. If you put on the boomer filter you should hit is no problem. Right now I am hitting 47.5 with stock airbox. In a couple months I will have the boomber filter at the dunes and redyno it. smile.gif Bet I hit 50!!

I used the lower half of the airbox. The stock filter will fit in all you have to do is fab something to hold it down tight.I had a touch over 50.
Oh yeah ,with a toaster exhaust. So there might be a little more to be had.smile.gif
