None of the Jap450's are putting out 55hp with a 450 unless the motor is being redone every couple races and even then I doubt it.Have been running lately with some real big dollar jap quads and I have 52hp and am killing them powerwise. They are full of it if they say they have 55.Man we are smoking YFZ's and 450r's with 490's and 500's that claim to have 60 hp.I am not exagerating at all by saying they are getting smoked.Even did many rollons other day with 490 YFZ on blacktop.Switched riders even.Cripes I even rolled in first gear. All same outcome Timbodale. This guy won A-class this past weekend on same quad.Only advantage the japers have right now in my opinion is handling and feel. That is just MY opinion and I am hoping a 250r kit will take care of that for me.

Seen a Dasa 450r on the Dyno lately? Close to the same work that is in Joe Byrds holeshot monster 450r. 58hp on 450cc's. Of course it costs him $25 a gallon for gas too. Oh and these motors will last a whole TT season under a pro, the person I am talkign about got 6th at birch creek and runs locally.
