I actually had found some crank shims for my local ATV repair shop to fix the problem of the stock bearing riding too far out on the race and resulting in failures. It looks like there is a spacer with the second bearing set-up???

Yes that's the fix. Has worked well as far as I know. Honda sells the whole crank with bearings and seal, spacer for $265!

I know...one of those is in my 450r right now because it was one of those failures!!!!!...LOL
