Brad can you tell me if the springs seat needs to be removed when using these valves or not? I think he told me to remove them for more clearance. But I cant remember.

Springs, retainers, etc. remain the same. HOWEVER, the valve seats have to be re-cut to match the profile of the valve. If not, the valve will sit too far out in the seat and cause coil-bind.

Would you know how much has to be cut?

It's more a matter of re-angling the seat so that it matches the profile of the valve. Easy work for a good automotive machine shop. This allows the valve to sit .5 mm deeper into the valve seat which brings the end of the valve stem up to the correct height for the valve springs.
