This summer I had run low in stock of our anodized sprocket nuts, and began thinking about a different setup.

This assembly is working great so far -- I have it on a few machines by now. One racer guy in the UK is very happy with it, after he lost his stock nut and spline washer. He mentioned that the sprocket is still firm and tight after some hard races -- no jiggling. Grease is used on the shaft splines, and anti-seize is used on the threads. The CamLocks can go on dry, dry-lubed, or oiled.

These pictures show the installation -- quick and easy!

$ 6 each with a ZincPlated Steel Nut
$ 9 each with a Stainless Nut

I have to admit I use those Nordlocks on almost everything I can now. Why not?... they work great! Nice one Canniboomer.

No kidding. They are the coolest **** thing ever, and I have Dave to thank for showing them to me.
