Hi boomer,
just wanted to make a public display of gratitude for your help with my full engine re-build. After a schoolboy error of putting the stator spacer on the wrong way round and tightening the flywheel right up, resulting in a 'click click' from the starter motor, this morning the bike came back to life. I still have alot of work to do before I can venture out onto the current icey roads of the UK, but to hear that engine spinning over and then firing up was awesome.
I have very little mechanical experience, but with your help it's been great. I'm really looking forward to the next one. If I could just find someone who could get me some rod parts.......
Cheers
