You see the horsepower numbers they put up? So either they just don't know and take a guess or they flat out lie about it. Just like they have done for the past 3-4 years. 48hp. lol

Wow, I didn't see that. Maybe they got that out of their new map after tuning on the dyno.

Have you seen what the other manufacturers claim for HP? Talk about lying!

I agree 100%. I recall one of the manufacturers actually giving true numbers though. Can't recall who though.

maybe the 08's are getting that. Mine put up 45hp with what they had for 07 and I believe they were claiming 46hp last year. Now they changed to a balanced billet falicon stroker crank and 95mm piston. So is it really that far fetched and impossible?

Not at all. I think that KTM claimed about 50 HP and dynos are showing more like 38. I think the 50hp claim was at the crank though.

lol...you would think this was a religion or something. Believe it because they said it. Your quad was a freak, plain and simple. You can't take the highest and call it the average. Ask anyone what a stock dale or atk puts out and its right at 40. To make a jump to 48 like that and never, NEVER put it on a dyno is flat out lying.

I noticed they are offering as an option an "automatic clutch". Are they talking about a Rekluse Pro?

Stephen.

so where is this source of yours to verify they never put it on a dyno?
