The barrel is the nut and it is threaded inside. The original set-up in a lot of cases is a rivet and a non-threaded barrel. Drill out the rivet and use the replacement parts above.

Thanks, I am aware of the rivet to screw update. Maybe I better learn the proper name for the parts LOL. How do you get the small harden pin into the half D shaped pin?
