Alright thank you!! Will take it out today and let you know. Oh and I didn't think about this until now, but how do I get the spring back on the shock?

Just loosen the preload nuts all the way,put spring on,put retainer in,retighten preload nuts just enough to keep spring retainer from falling out and try it there.
