tuning after porting job

#1 Post by rope83 »

Well I am heading home for a while and I need to tune my dale. I got a porting job done by a friend whose company did the porting for the factory riders and told me to expect 5 to 6 horses. Now I combined that with a clamp on filter and a quad tech hood. I also have a TC Pipe and nacs map if it make a difference.

Stock settings:
THROT OFFSET:0
THROTTLE POS:3.2
RPM:2034
INJ FLOW:2550
INJ OFFSET:1.05
AFR:12.2
AFR FULL:13.1

If I could get a percent to increase decrease the INJ FLOW and INJ OFFSET???????????????just something to start with. I don??????????????????t know to look to the books because of so many typos ..just confused.

Thanks for the help
Rob

All you would have to change is the flow rate. Probably something you should just do spark plug checks or take it to a dyno and get a run with an afr meter. Alot faster each machine is different and reacts differently to changes made.

I would drop your flowrate (to richen it) 2-300. Run it and do a plug check. If you get popping on decel, increase your offset .1 (to richen)

Increase flowrate to lean, decrease to richen the top end.
Increase offset to richen, decrease to lean the bottom end.
