When they will not talk it sometimes is that they have lost the hex and the ecu does not know what you are trying to do. That is why you have to force the power on and force feed the hex to it. Did you try that yet?

Scooter

No I havent but I will try tonight.

Thanks
Shawn

I wonder if this is one of those things where you have to set the date way back on your computer... and make it 2004 all over again! Easy to do and worth a try... I gather that the authorization codes expire at some point based on the computer date.

Scooter It must have been the hex code, once I forced it and got the map in and reset the TB it fired right off.

Thanks

Glad to hear that worked. As for the date on the computers the last time there was a problem they went to a 10 plus year licence. I cant remember exactly how far but if it happens again just reset the date and all will be good.

I loaded the Moto map, the quad has a HMF pipe and slip on other then that its stock. It seems to be running rich as its blows black and shoots some pretty good size fire balls out the exhaust when free revved, anything to be worried about?

Sounds very rich to me. Quick and easy increase flow rate by 10 to 20 percent and see how that helps.
