after you buy a d&m kit what other cost are there to get it up and going where you can use it or is there no other cost involved?:confused:

The D&M kit works this way, from what I understand.
You buy the kit.
You call Optimum for the 1 (possibly 2, this has been debated) codes that unlock your D&M to work with your specific ECU.
You can use it.
If you need more ECU's unlocked (say, if you had 3 'Dales) I think Optimum might sell you the key for $150 or something. The consistancy has definitely not been a strong point.
The first 1 (or maybe 2) unlock codes are included in the purchase price of the D&M. No further cost involved.
