What timing on the stroker maps??

I'm reading that the advanced timing of the speed or x440 maps may actually hinder power on the stroker motors. If this is the case, what timings on the stock maps have people found to be the best? I can drop the fuel setting from the map we've created so far and change the timing to another map if we think it will create more power.

Any comments or suggestions??

We were playing with timing last dyno runs.Lowering timing on top end was giving more power. This was on the Big Stroker.

C27, when you say "top end", what RPM range are you looking at that the decrease in timing helped out? If I recall right you guys were looking at max HP @ 8000 RPM or so on the strokers?

My stroker maxxed HP @9000 RPM on a stock 03 Moto map.

Hmmm. I wonder if the the less timing on the Moto Map would create HP in the stroker motors above 8000rpm versus the speed timing we've been using???
