Hi

I am curious, so I need different software to switch from my laptop to using an ipaq to make maping changes etc? I noticed the gp control that our one cable is supposed to work with either device.

I have seen a D&M cd, and a D&M for Compact Windows cd, so I am assuming that you do need the different software.

You'll also need a serial adapter for your IPAQ - I think mine was about $10. The IPAQ thing was cool, but the software was a bit glitchy. Keep in mind there is no HEX code loading ability and the IPAQ software corrupted my HEX code more than once while loading a map, so I needed to get my laptop to fix it anyways . I finally just bought an old beater laptop that is my "Cannondale only" laptop
