First off let me tell you that a map is a spreadsheet with timing and fuel settings that the ecu reads. The ecu tells the injectors when to spray and the spark plug when to spark. Make sense? In order to change mapping, you need a D&M kit or someone that has a dealer cal.

However, thanks to peterock, we now have power commanders that will, in a sense, optimize the mapping for you without having to change maps.

Where are you located? If you have any questions feel free to call, I'm in Wisconsin but with the members on the site we can get you up to speed on the basic understandings of these machines.

Get in touch with kdeal on this site. He is kinda local to you, within a few hours. He will get you all taken care of without a doubt. As for the ATK dealers, meh, I wouldn't go to them. Most of the dealers have never touched a cannondale and ATK hasn't done a good job in training them on them either.

Oh kdeal, you have a semi local guy that needs help. smile.gif
