How do I set the RPM? I have a D&M kit, but I have not really messed with it other than to check the vitals and swap maps. if someone can give me a tip on how to adjust the revs I would appreciate it.

You need to tweak the map with the ProCal.

Or use this one. Once map has rpm changed then you need D&M to load new Map file into your ECU.

Other option is to send whole ecu to someone who can do it for you. I do it for free just pay postage.

Don't you set the idle with the idle adjustment screw on the throttle body?

Idle adjust - throttle body screw
Idle monitor - D&M or DealerCal (2100-2200 rpm)
Rev Limit Set - ProCal

I was looking for the rev limit setting, so I guess I will have to get a ProCal right?

Map editor will do it. I think you can even do it with the online map site.

Or find a map that is allready modified with the rev limit you want... some have in the title... you are lowering it arent ya?
If you have a close to stock motor there is a moto-speed hybrid map that has a 10k limit, it is a good map with a piped stock motor.
Here is a moto map with a lower limit...
If you want that moto-speed map let me know.
