I have also turned mine, 1st a 1/4, then a 1/2, then a whole turn to the richer side. Could not tell any difference at all, my time slips stayed about the same, 3.9's to 4.1's in 200 feet. I hooked up the mil tool today and changed the fuel trim to 8% above the base line from 2% below the base line(from dealer). I did this to richen up the fuel to make up for the bill's slip-on pipe and direct k&n air filter mod. I am going to a race tomorrow, hopefully I can drop a tenth or more.

Keep us posted on your results. There are many threads dealing with mapping the 1000 systen but nothing for the 500 system.
I also turned the screw 1/8 turn to the richer today and went ridding.I noticed it ran better and did not have the popping all the time nor did I have the flame from the rear.
