EFI on KTM LC4 640 ??

#1 Post by SlOoT »

My dad would love to have EFI on the KTM LC4 project.
Now, is it possible ?? will we need a special custom map ??

I dont see why not. You will have to somehow graft the tone ring off the dale flywheel or have a custom one made. I would say a custom map will be absolutly required but can be done.

It would require a different Hex code because of the differences in valve timing and stroke. You may be able to fool the computer by making a custom flywheel but I doubt it.HEX code would be almost impossible to make without major resources.Optimum does make fuelinjection kits for the YFZ and CRF motors maybe they will make one for KTM?
