The cryo treating might just work. I wonder if the epoxy in the magnets could take the process though. Maybe we should send a junk flywheel in to see if they hold up. ive heard that cryo treating works great to strengthen parts but it does not harden them though.

I can ask him. Is the flywheel aluminum with a steel hub? I can tell you that stock oil pump gears out of a Mod motor will not hold up to 500rwhp, after treating them, there good to 840rwhp (so far). Let me know. ****, its worth a shot.

How's the progress on these Wistech? Just curious because I went riding this weekend and Michelle and myself both spun flywheels again. She is on number 4 and I am on number 3. Do you need spun ones to fix or do they have to be new? I can send the spun ones if you can use them. I picked up a prototype all steel one from Maz's that I'll have to post a picture of so you can see. It would probably be the best solution but the one problem is that it is heavier than the stocker. Let me know, later.

New or spun it makes no difference.

Been kind of swamped with the dyno day group ride projects. I should have another one done by the end of next week.

Okay, I'll be sending you a box. This seems to be the ONLY problem that we've been having since putting in the Falicons. You know how that goes, add stronger parts and expose the the weakest link. Thanks again, Brian.

Sounds like a harmonics related issue due to the increased stroke to me.
It just shakes the flywheel apart. If you have access to an EVA tool to see what hertz range's it shows at different RPM's you may be able to give that to the guys doing the balancing...

The LQ ATK's used the same flywheel...

Do you have a LQ flywheel? Does it bolt right up? Is it build any different?
