Cannondaleriders

Has anybody built a 500cc + Cannondale/ATK yet? I heard Timbo does a +6mm Stroke and is there not 98mm Pistons out there? That would put us at 506cc or with a 97mm Piston which I'm positive exists we would be at 496cc.

So has it been done yet?

with that much motor you would need and extended swing arm I have heard the timbo stoker/450 piston or the falicon/450 piston are kinda a beast to handle through the woods the front end wants to come up.

I have a timbo stroker/450 and you have to get used to it in the woods, she gets alittle hard to steer in when your all over it! but its always fun to have that much power and to handle fairly well. No one can hang!

I will prob port the head when I do mine to tame the bottom end. I plan to run the blaze map and prob play with the ts so its not quite a sensitve to keep me outta trouble. I need just a little more power but not alot more than the stocky motor. Just wanting reliablity. Timbo has been very helpful and explained to me what I can to do have a big bore motor and have a smooth power.

I think the Timbo stroker is just 2.4mm. A 6mm stroker would probably require a shorter rod. I know Powroll makes a 6mm for Hondas and they shrink the stock rod so that you can run any piston with a stock wrist pin height. I'm not sure what the process is that they use to shrink the rod but I've had them do it to a Honda 350x rod and it looked good and held up well.

One other thing....I'm not sure that there is enough room on the Cannondale stock cranks to stroke 6mm. But...if there is....it would be a beast!:hammer:

I have a Timbo stroker and 460 kit for 475cc. I think that's as big as we have right now. Timbo is working on something bigger to his personal quad I believe.

Are u using WWE piston? .. if yes .. what is the comp?
