i use the 3 washers and the outer seal. and that small sleeve, running no bearing... :head:

No bearing? Is that ok? Kinda thought that woudl wear really bad?

i keep it greased, cams are the same way,(on some cars) metal on metal the only thing it can do is get slopier and slopier, than i will make new ones

DS 650 uses just bushings.You think about it a swingarm really doesnt move much at all compared to a wheel bearing.I think only reason needles are used is to keep everything free for good suspension action.Probably a old tech design.Needlebearings suck in a dirty enviroment.
