Brakelight for Cannondale

#1 Post by cannondale27 »

Got me a cheap L.E.D. tailight from a 450r:( Got a pressure switch for rear brake from Parts Unlimited #12-0010 10mmX1.25 and a front brake switch off a Z 400 #57460-17c01 fits right on our master even comes with screw.Wired it up.Works Awesome. For trail riding almost a necessity for safety in my opinion. When racing just turn it off and maybe even remove it .Pics tomorrow.

I think its a must if you want to keep it. I broke my tail light on the first race. I found it hanging down and bouncing off everything.

Good find though. The LED is pretty cool and is good for night rides or trail riding. How much did it cost for the whole set up?

About $30.Hydraulic switch was $16 Z400 switch was $6 and I believe I got tailight for $5 although that was a great find.Seems like all the quads are going LED even polaris so they shouldnt be hard to find.

Cool find STEVE,
Thanx for listing the part numbers. If I have any questions I'll get back to ya. How did the tailight mount up? I definitely want to do this, stock light is broken. Very cool. Thanx, wanablaze.

It should be fine there. Doesn't look much lower than stock if at all. Nice clear pics. Thanx.
