Dont do it.Is another post somewhere showing your other option.Basicly you use bluing in the bore to find the high spot. Then use a diegrinder if accessible and your confident you wont touch anything other than spot or better yet just take your time with a stone and just REMOVE ONLY THE SPOT highlighted by the bluing.Keep repeating just til spot is gone.If bore and bucket is correct and perfectly clean the bucket will fall all the way to bottom of bore with spring and valve removed. This spot that holds is only about 1/4in dia.Tolerances in bore is so close even a small speck of dirt will fool you into thinking a bucket is sticking. Some buckets also are defective and stick in bore.Check the buckets.

What kind of stone? Grit? Round one of a certain diameter? Or something as simple as a small one for a Dremel and use it by hand instead of in the dremel?

This job is way to precise to be doing by hand IMHO. If you do it wrong the bucket bore wont hold oil when the bike is parked and you get dry starts.

Class900 of course is right but for those that still insist it can be done.Prepare to have very sore fingers and 3hrs of doing this.A 1/4in round India stone will work.Try to think of this as if you were doing brain surgery. One wrong move and you have junk.Especially with diegrinder. There just is no room to work with.Like said when done with bucket in bore it should still hold a nice pool of oil on top bucket even after sitting for months. But whith clean bore and bucket the bucket should fall right to bottom.
