Has anyone tried to use the CAN comms to get live data on a dashboard?
A lot of motorsport systems can be powered up, two CAN wires connected and then all the ECU data can be desplayed on the dash. RPM, water temp, air temp, throttle position etc......
Since 'map selection' was originally written into the patents applications as being dependant upon gear selection, thus allowing reduced torque in lower gears, the gear position could well be displayed too once a pot is fitted and wired.

No never.Would be cool.I just recently got a homebuilt wideband display that would be able to also display other inputs also.Another project!
Jinx found this. For those thinking of getting this kit be warned it doesnt come with much.Majority of parts need to be bought from Electronics supplier they arent much $ but everything has to be assembled. Is cheap though and alot of potential.Untested yet though.
