Heres a pic of the axle clearance. **Note this is with the swing arm set to where the shock is at a metal on metal fully bottomed out length without the bump stop.
I still can't get over how big that canister is. Have to let us know the db when tested and dyno numbers. I would say that clearance may be an issue if hitting big jumps, but for the every day rider should work no problem. Very nice once again.
like I said the location of the swing arm is as if you were to bottom the shock out so far that the lower shock eyelid hit the seal head (without the bottom out bumper), but at that point you might have a much more serious problem then a small scrach in the can (shock and/or Frame damage)
Nice job,thanx for doing that,you answered some questions for me.I always wondered how big the diameter was on some of the street bike cans because they can be had for a song and a dance.I dont feel like cutting down my fmf titanium so i think a shortened gsxr exhaust or something is in order.I'll probably just fab the slip on part,im happy with my fx headpipe.good job
