I????????ve been working on a replacement solution for weak balljoints on my Moto, 02 and 03 style A-arms. I came up with a heim joint conversion using Walsh Racecraft hardware. I am having the original cups on the 02, 03 and lower Moto A-arms milled out, then I am installing new weld-in cups and heim joints with Cannondale taper studs. I completed this conversion on five quads (two 02????????s, two 03????????s and a Moto) and have put 430 miles on them so far. They retain original geometry and structural integrity and allow for full suspension travel. Let me know what you think.

Solid setup. For MX racing I like the spherical bearings as well.

The good part is once you have the studs and cups from Walsh, the replacement sphericals are cheap.

COM12-T bearings are about $15 each

Very nice! Between your conversion for lowers and boomers conversion for uppers along with the Poly bushings I believe Moto A-arms are set. Nice.
