I am working on a dual exhaust. I got the first part done, up to the mounts for the heelgaurds. Now I got a question, should I go with the same I.D. all the way to the end or should I make steps to bigger I.D.'s ? Thanks

What size engine is it, whats your cam timing, head porting, open mufflers or quiet cores? All have played a factor in tubing design.

It's a 432cc engine, 46mm ported intake and ported exhaust. Has a cyclone intake. Cams timed at 110i and 108e. I also need to get the noise down, so I'm gonna run with quiet cores. Thanks for all the help so far.

For quiet cores on that sized engine I found going 107/106 will help retain bottom end power. Any higher and it will be a peaky engine with stock power up to 7,000 rpm. Stepping up the pipe size up about 11 inches from the head as well. Sooner for a bigger motor.

Dyno has proven that eliminating as much of the last bend before silencer as possible gives gains. Is a issue on some pipes I have seen.

You should reroute that electric wire for your rear brake switch on the outside, so it won't get overheated by the exhaust. I would also consider wrapping the brake line with heat material.
