To run a huge throttle body one must enlarge the intake tract . So the welder and lathe were working overtime this week. Compare the 42mm to the 46mm and then the 50mm .

Then take the new larger bore velocity stacks and bore them out even bigger and machine to fit onto the new TB.

Look the stock throttle body fits inside the manifold now.

I have not decided what size engine this is going on. The throttle body height is also an inch taller than the stocker so there might be a redesign like bolting the TB directly to the head instead of the rubber boot setup. I am curiuos if vibration would affect the sensors or IAC.

I profiled the velocity stack tonight . The intake flange will be through bolted to the stack holding it all together.

Make it a 460. That way I'll know if I want to do it.

This head is also getting the prototype exhaust valves. So I will have to use the 98mm pistons for clearance. Ive shaved the head more for more compression as well so I have to clay it for clearance. I just sent my last CP piston to Tim so it will be a Witech piston instead.
