Is this just as simple as drilling out the white plastic? Everything else remains the stock?

That's all I did, don't forget to remove the spring inside the white plastic tube.

Sometimes that spring can be a real pain to get out!! Just make sure you get all the metal pieces out.

wow, no kidding, what a friggin PITA!

Spent like 40 mins trying to get that stupid spring out, lucky i have any material left.

Forget gutting them. Just get Canniboomers tank setup. Its worth it. Shortly after gutting mine, the outer o-rings started leaking and I continued to have problems. His setup took care of all the issues.

Gutting does the job but while your at it you mind as well relocate the connectors to where they should have been all along.
