hey, i have a early 02' blaze, dropped the motor, pulled clutch cover and the timing chain cover, checked all of the bolts, all were tight, motor has approximently 50 hours on it. green locktited all bolts and reinstalled and torqued.

all you guys that pull your clutch cover and look at those bolts is a good idea, but the stud update does not include those bolts. it replaces the bolts in the trans. plate not the trans. cassette. just a thought, something else to check

I know red loctite is.... I think the green isn't, but it's heat resistant.(sp)

so pulling off the clutch cover will net the results? I guess I should have read this before I just changed my oil sad.gif

oh well...............whats 2 quarts of oil anyway? biggrin.gif

Redneck - you need to pull the motor to get to ALL of the bolts.

Don't worry about the oil change. When you pull the clutch cover your in the tranny not engine, and you need to change your tranny oil anyway wink.gif
