will this meter work with a dale?

That sounds like it would work great. Just ride, make adjustments with your D&M, and ride and check again. A few passes should have you spot on. I think I'll order one and try it.

IN theory, it sounds like it should work, been thinking about it myself, except I was going with a wideband 02 sensor. Without wideband it will take a little time for the sensor to reflect the true AFR status. I now feel entitled to an educated opinion as I have seen 1st hand the delay that some of the units have...

I agree.Even with dyno we are going to have to start charting specific rpms rather than goin all the way across.(hold throttle steady at like 3000,4000 etc)for making maps.

You can do the above setup on your own for less than $80. smile.gif I can't remember where I got the info but I have the O2 sensor on my head pipe right now. I have been meaning to get out and use it but I am doing some port work right now and won't have it together for another week. If interested I can post pics and part numbers.

here yah go...

I got the parts from autozone and had my buddy at the shop weld a bung onto the pipe.

sunpro air/fuel gauge
