Tapping stripped bolt holes.

I have been finding a lot of stripped out bolt holes. Most I can tap easily and fix. Recently I came across two of the clutch cover bolt holes that are stripped. I know they go into the side case, but do they go through the side case and into the actual case? I want to tap the holes with the side case on if possible. If not, I'll just wait till I pull the motor.

They don't go through, so you will be fine.
